Good Sunday, poets.   Today we are sharing some photos from Sherry Blue Sky.  As most of you know, she has very recently moved to Tofino........and these photos (with her own words in quotes) are of her new 'digs.'    We will feature more of Sherry's photos next week.  But meanwhile, we at PU are really happy that at last Sherry is back living in her heart's home.

Be sure to scroll back and read Rosemary's "The Living Dead" where she honors Gwen Harwood, a beloved Australian poet in the wake of International Women's Day.

Thanks to those of you who participated in Sumana's Midweek Motif..."Be Bold for Change."  Again, in celebration of International Women's Day.

Monday Sherry has prepared an interview of a poet she hasn't interviewed before.  She's been taking part in Poetry Pantry recently.  Smiles.   Stop back and read the interview.

Wednesday Susan's Midweek Motif will be "The Kindness of Strangers."  Give it some thought before Wednesday, and join in!

With no further delay, let's share poetry. Link your poem below.  Say 'hello' in comments.  Visit the poems of others who have posted.  See you on the trail.

  2. Gorgeous photos, Sherry, wish I was there, with you, to see the true beauty of Tofino, and the surrounding area, that you now call home. Honestly, I haven't decided on a poem that I will be sharing this Sunday, whether, it will be, an acrostic, or my usual style of free verse poetry. Am thinking, the cats should decide this choice for me. Will be back, with the selected poem.

  11. Hi friends, I so love living in a village again. It is just the right size for me. The people here are so CONSCIOUS, and the energy is great. The scenery is spectacular, every day, all the time. Sigh. I am happy. Thanks, Mary, for hosting, as always. Looking forward to some good reading with my morning tea.

  13. Beauty! So that's what it has been all about: A spirit soaring! The good news is, I am alive, healthy and looking forward to reading today's offerings. The bad news is that I forgot to move my clocks forward and am now at a mad dash to meet the day's obligations in my worship community. So I will see you much later . . .

I was in Oakland, CA visiting my best friend for 4 days last week. I had a great visit we always have fun. She doesn't live that far away but life is so busy.

I hope you have a restful weekend! Don't forget to spring forward. Hugs all around!
