Hello, fellow poets! I'm pinch-hitting today to give Mary a well-deserved day off. I am sharing some photos of my beloved beaches with you, from my place of heart, Tofino, B.C., on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, in Canada. You can see why I love it so much. I spent ten glorious years there, where, on a daily basis, my eyes could not believe the spectacular beauty I was living in. I just kept saying to myself, "I'm here! I'm really here!"

Did you catch Rosemary's feature on Friday? Do check back, if you missed it. Rosemary always has interesting poems and poets with which to enlighten us. Tomorrow I have a special visit for you with a poet who has been with us for quite some time. I know you will enjoy what she shares with us. And on Wednesday, Sumana asks us to write on the topic of Acceptance, an intriguing subject to contemplate.

I hope you will enjoy the work of your fellow poets today. For those of you who are new, welcome! All you need to do is link your poem with Mr. Linky, visit others, and enjoy being visited in return. Let's dive in!

  19. The photos are stunning Sherry! I can't believe you're jealous of the Bay Trial! I just may write a haiku or 2 about one of them they are perfect for that. Of course, you'll get credit!

Today I'm sharing some fun and a poem that's a year old that was unpublished until today so you PU members are the first to read it. I can't wait to read what everyone else has.

Have a wonderful new week! I'm going biking now.

    Love, Bekkie

  21. Stunning photographs, Sherry. I have never been there but I have a friend visiting Tofino right now and she says it is her favorite place on earth. I can see why, from your pictures!!! Looks absolutely glorious :-) Thank you for sharing these with us.

  22. Yes, it is the most spectacularly beautiful place - in every weather. It was glorious to live there, as the sunsets and skies changed - every time, stepping onto the beach, everything was brand new. I was lucky! And still lucky to live just an hour and a half away from it. What is also cool is it is a power place on the planet - the way the ley lines intersect creates an amazing energy there. And the people are alternative and live very consciously. Well, I could go on and on....LOL.

  23. Such gorgeous pictures, Sherry. Seeing them all in this fashion, I now more readily understand the deeply moving appeal this place has for you. I certainly wouldn't mind living there, myself.
